This is an excellent way to secure your sidearm when not carrying or sleeping at night. Easy to use and easy to secure to wall. The hardest part is setting your own code. Instructions are a little vague about where the set button is inside the safe. To set the code, no parts have to be removed. Just have to feel around inside the safe, on the backside, middle area, of the keypad and you will find it! Do not leave bullets and firearms together without being secured in this safe or on your person. Easy, affordable, secure solution. Perfect size for one handgun and a box of ammo. A larger size is also available that will hold 2-3 handguns and ammo. The only negative is that this safe is not fireproof, but perfect for temporary storage!
